Trip Booking Conditions
1. RESERVATIONS/ BOOKING
With Mt. Kailash Tours & Travel Pvt. Ltd., you simply have to fill out the booking form to ensure all the services (hotel, vehicles, guide, or etc) are available as agreed. Bookings can be made with a 25% deposit along with your personal details (Full name, arrival date, passport details, flight numbers and itineraries). This will create a bonding contract at which point we will issue a confirmation invoice. Please make sure that you have thoroughly read and understand the following booking conditions.
Mt. Kailash Tours & Travel Pvt. Ltd. guarantees that once we received your deposit, the price won’t be changed although we reserve the right to alter according to the introduction of new taxes fees or permit requirements. We price our tours and packages based on the needs of our customers and the Cape Town declaration for responsible tourism. Prices are based on the costs for the current year.
3. DATE OF DEPARTURE & COLLECTION TIMINGS
We are flexible to minor changes in your trip departure date and are happy to reschedule whenever possible. If any changes need to be made, please contact Mt. Kailash Tours & Travel Pvt. Ltd. as soon as possible.
4. PASSPORTS & VISAS
A passport valid for at least six months is required for entry to Nepal. Nepal has a provision to grant a visa up on arrival at the entry points including internationalairport although you may obtain a visa from the Nepal embassy or consulate in your home country. Please note that visa cost is not included in our price. Please do not forget to bring few passport size photographs along as you need them stich on the visa form. Mt. Kailash Tours & Travel Pvt. Ltd. accepts no responsibility for any expense incurred from any irregularity in your documents.
5. EXTRA COSTS
The client is responsible for their portion of the extra cost due to unforeseen expenses that may arise due to the factors beyond our control including landslides, political unrest, personal illness, etc.
6. TRANSFER OF BOOKING
Mt. Kailash Tours & Travel Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to decide whether the tour is transferable or not. Under most of circumstances, treks are transferable and we are happy to assist you in any way possible regarding a change in travel plans.
7. BREAKING OF TOURS & TREKKING
Mt. Kailash Tours & Travel Pvt. Ltd. will not be held liable for any refund to any broken tour or trek due to client’s sickness, accident, landslides or other factors beyond our control.
If you cancel the tour once booked, the following cancellation charge will apply:
- 25% of the tour cost if notified 5 weeks prior to arrival date. This includes costs for the entire tour.
- 30% of the tour cost if notified 4 weeks prior to arrival date. This includes costs for the entire tour.
- No refund is available upon shorter notice as the booking would have been completed.
9. ACCIDENT OR LOSS
We assume no liability for loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, or direct or consequential loss unless such cause is due to employee negligence, in which case our liability is limited (except for death or personal injury) to a maximum of the refund of the tour cost. We do not own or manage the vehicles, accommodation, and restaurants used and we have no liability for loss or damage caused by the proprietors or operators thereof.
If you have a problem with our package please inform our operator at present who will be happy to make any necessary changes as soon as possible. If the complain is not resolved locally please make a written complain to our office at Kathmandu as soon as possible. If the complaint isn’t resolved we will make every effort to provide reasonable compensation.
11. WHAT INCLUDES IN TRIP?
This is specifically stated on each itinerary. If still you have any confusion please contact a staff member Mt. Kailash Tours & Travel Pvt. Ltd. to clear up any uncertainty.
12. TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is strongly advised that travelers should have a comprehensive travel insurance and do not travel against medical advice. Your insurance details (policy number, policy provider, and emergency contact) should be provided to Mt. Kailash Tours & Travel Pvt. Ltd. before start your trek tour. Insurance is available in Nepal but it would be always better to obtain insurance in your home country
13. HELICOPTER CHARTER/RESCUE
If a client requires emergency evacuation or rescue, for whatever cause, the client must pay all costs associated with the rescue operation which may include: helicopter charter, medical treatment expenses, extra porter etc. The client will be provided with receipts to claim these expenses with her/his insurance company.
14. IF Mt. Kailash Tours & Travel Pvt. Ltd. HAS TO CANCEL
For any reason, If the trip has to be cancelled, you will have a choice of either an alternative tour / trek package or full refund or postpone the trip. Cancellation may only occur due to factors beyond our control such as political instability, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, natural disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions
15. OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
i. We accept responsibility for ensuring that the services which you book with us will be supplied as per our agreed deal and the services offered reach a reasonable standard. We make all reasonable efforts to ensure that the travel services we offer are properly arranged. We will provide you the service with the best safety, hygiene and quality throughout the trip.
ii. We accept responsibility for the acts and/or omissions of our employees, agents and suppliers (at the time of carrying out works authorized by us) except where they lead to death, injury or illness. Our maximum liability in all cases shall be limited
